Commercial Contracting Diagnostic
This low cost, short, in-depth review looks at a wide range of success factors or ‘Value Codes’ (VCs) which allow you to assess how prepared your organisation is to manage effectively its important contracts and their associated relationships.
Using our web-based Diagnostic, you assess how you are currently performing and what your future aspirations are for each VC based upon defined stages of ‘what good looks like’. You do the assessment; our role is to help you to interpret the outcomes and then define and achieve your aspirations.
How does it work?
Planning and preparation
We will help you:
Review and agree the value codes to suit your needs
Identify 50-100 individuals who have strategic or practical involvement in contract & relationship management for your organisation
Promote the challenge internally and encourage response
Provide invoice and contract information
We recommend that you nominate a senior sponsor to own and promote the Challenge.
During the Challenge process
The diagnostic will run for 2-3 weeks. We will provide:
System administration and query management
Status reports on participation
Instant analysis on live data
We will also review your spend and contract data identifying key suppliers, contract ownership and other metrics to better understand the Diagnostic outcomes.
Post Challenge
We will help you get the most from the online Diagnostic dashboard and present the findings in context of your spend profile.
Value scores showing the range of responses
Full comment analysis including heat maps
Breakdowns by department and/or level of seniority
Opportunity to set a 12-month target and show variances
Opportunity to measure progress by repeating the Diagnostic in the future
Optional onsite workshop available to:
present the findings in context
determine what ‘good’ looks like for your organisation
develop a 12 month action plan
“Thought provoking and thorough from the start. It gave our leadership team new insights into where and how we needed to improve our approach to contract management and find new sources of value in the outcomes that we achieve.”
