Contract & Relationship Management
for elected Members and senior officers
High-value, complex and strategic contracts invariably need oversight from elected Members at some stage in the commissioning process. This can be during the planning and development stage through to sanctioning a contract award. It may even involve approving actions for dealing with an underperforming contractor or cost overrun. This can prove challenging given that no two situations are the same, and the scale and complexity can prove daunting for officers and Members alike.
Contract & Relationship Management for elected Members and senior officers is a two hour briefing style session delivered by contract management and public procurement expert Ken Cole (SPS, EELGA Talent Bank member and Fellow of World Commerce & Contracting). The session will be held on client site during the day or evening, as required.
The session is informal and will help elected Members work more effectively with officers to enhance the value accrued and improve outcomes achieved from their strategic contracts. No previous experience or knowledge is required to attend. Each session can accommodate up to 40 people.
£1,600 fixed price, delivered on-site in an informal, interactive, workshop style environment. Programme duration is two hours and is available via SPS or EELGA.
